We began as Learn More Driving School in 2007-8 when our director became a driving instructor, preferring to remain independent rather than joining one of the traditional and established driving schools.

Setting up independently offered the opportunity to run things our way in business, which is something enjoyed from previous experience in business Management.

 

It was found very early on that we had a lot of frustrated pupils who wanted to be taught much quicker than the traditional one or two lessons per week method, so we began offering "semi-intensive" and "intensive" driving courses throughout the North West, this quickly expanded throughout the UK.

 

We have been specializing in this method of teaching since very early on in our founders instructing career and we were extremely successful at it. It got to the stage where we had to take on new driving instructors as the company was turning down plenty of work.

 

We are now in the high hundreds of regular instructors we provide work for, we get much of our work through recommendation and word of mouth.

Due to this success our founder came "off the road" as a full time driving instructor and set up "OWD - One week driving, now named National Intensive", carrying the previous 9 years of in-car experience, 350+ of his own test passes in addition to the thousands our local instructors had got their driving licences for, on to this exciting and larger venture.

 

Now we have grown to cover around 95% of the mainland UK and have access to hundreds of driving instructors, with experience of teaching the same methods, who have registered with us to provide you with a driving course that suits your requirements.

We are amongst one of the largest established providers of intensive driving courses in the UK, We have a hardworking and dedicated team, who arrange the administration while the instructor and yourself have the time to prepare properly for your driving test.

Our founder gained a grade A in his driving instructor's standards check, a personal best, proving the teaching methods we adopt and promote to our audience work a treat.
