Q) How does your course work?

Once a deposit has been paid, you and your instructor agree a start date, normally a Monday. The instructor picks you up from your chosen pick up point every day. The in-car training would be done during the week, Monday to Friday (3 - 6 hrs per day). The exact daily times are agreed when the driving instructor calls and books you in. Please do not book any time off work until you have spoken and agreed the dates and times with your instructor.
If a theory test is required, we book it for you normally Monday or Tuesday afternoon, so that you take it after your lesson that day with the instructor.
The in-car training continues daily to use your hours up, and we get the quickest possible driving test, ideally for Friday PM at your local driving test centre.  The final 90 minutes of all standard driving test courses
is
for hiring the car to take the driving test using the driving instructor's vehicle. The DVSA do not provide cars so you will need to use your driving instructor's vehicle.

Real People,

 Real passes!

Q) The waiting list for a driving test in my area is 5 to 6 months away, how do you get one for the end of my course?

We are currently booking courses with an estimated completion date as per the booking form, due to the long waiting times at your local TC.

Q) Are the test fees included in the price?

A) Yes - all prices we quote include the test fees, we book them for you. You can book in with your own tests already booked, we just remove the fees off the total cost.

Q) Do you help with theory revision?

A) There are around 1000 questions in the theory question database, so you're looking at a lot of revision time. We recommend at least 30 hours, and that is only 2 minutes per question!

We can offer you discounted access to the premium version of the theory test pro website, on purchasing a driving course so you can study online at home or on the go, using your smartphone via the website or app.

Our driving instructors will be happy to assist with the theory in the car too if you need help, just ask. We can go through more complex questions with you, which will boost your chances of passing the theory test when you take it. It would take us hours and hours to cover everything once, so that is why we give you free access to the revision website.

Q) What if I fail my theory test?

The driving instructor will continue to train you and get you up to the best possible standard within the hours we have arranged with you that week, we will then either book the theory test for you again for late in the same week (if possible) or the following week, it all depends on local theory test availability, or you can rebook it yourself on the standard waiting list on GOV.UK, and check for cancellations yourself, and we will await you to contact us once you have passed the theory. You have to wait 2 clear working days if you fail a theory test before you can take another one. The instructor will normally save the final few hours to finish off once the theory is passed if necessary. If you are at a safe standard and can take your driving test once the theory is passed, we will book your practical test for you as soon as you pass the 2nd theory test.

Q) What if you cannot get me a test for the Friday?

Most of our pupils want a course at extremely short notice, so we have to work off the DVSA system to get you a cancellation slot for the Friday, much quicker than the standard waiting list which can be 4 months or more. We aim to get you a cancellation at your local test centre, or one reasonably close (with your permission) so you can have some practice hours in that area during the course. If we cannot get you a practical test for Friday then we will offer you the first available slot, which would typically be early the following week. However, you won't be waiting weeks and weeks. You're driving instructor will save a few hours back in order for you to finish up early in the second week. 95% of our courses are done by early the following week, if not on the Friday.

If you need a 100% guarantee of a driving test for a Friday the only way this is possible is to pass your theory test first about 3 months before beginning a driving course, then for us (or you) to book a driving test on the official booking website, on the normal waiting list at GOV.
UK
, but you may have to book your course 3 months advance, on the normal DVSA waiting list at the back of the queue as it's not practical so we are the next best thing.

Real People,

 Real passes!

Q) What if I fail the practical test?

No driving instructor in the country can guarantee you a pass 1st time, we do try our best and the majority of the time people pass. If you are unlucky or just make one silly error with just a few minor fault's then you will be able to rebook with us (call us straight away). The DVSA allow another test to be sat only after 10 working days have passed, so you can rebook with us immediately and we will search for a retest as soon as on the 10th working day. You probably will only need to arrange a few of hour's practice prior to the second test. If you fail with lots of minor faults or more than one serious or dangerous fault, then it may be necessary for you to evaluate your driving skills and book extra training before considering another test attempt. Learning to drive is expensive to most people, but it is ridiculously more expensive if you keep going in for practical tests when you aren't ready.

Q) I have passed my theory test, is it cheaper?

If you have passed your theory test then you will not have to pay the theory test fee (£35). Our prices include the cost of the practical driving test, we just add on £35 if you need us to book you a theory test.

Q) Do you offer a 'guaranteed pass' course, OR free retest?

I'm afraid nobody can 100% guarantee you will pass a test first time, we just charge you for 1 theory test and 1 driving test in your initial payment.  Some companies may offer 'free' retests or something similar, but you'll generally pay more in the initial payment, then they will pay for extra tests if needed. Some companies may offer 1, some may offer unlimited free retests, with strict terms and conditions you have to abide by. We have a good pass rate so most customers wouldn't benefit from a more expensive 'guaranteed pass' type course. If you fail either theory or practical test 1st time we will book you the quickest possible retest so that you can continue your course. At the moment we have a special offer featuring a free theory retest and also we will pay the practical test fee on any retest course, on all course bookings 10 to 45 hours.

Q) Where are you based?

Our calls are taken at our office in Greater Manchester, but we have many instructors nationwide, registered to teach courses for us, who offer a door to door service from your home, college or work. In London we sometimes have to agree a meeting point if travel becomes an issue to the instructor.

Q) Are your instructors fully qualified?

All of our course instructors have qualified as ADI instructors, we will not provide you with a trainee or unqualified instructor. All driving instructors are CRB / DBS checked every time they renew their 'green badge' - the licence to teach.

Q) Can I realistically pass in one week?

Yes! if you have arranged enough practice hours in the week, you pass your theory test and we can get you a test for the Friday and you pass it, then you will have your licence! Sometimes it may take a few days longer as we depend on finding cancellations in your local area, unless you book your driving test on the normal waiting list, well in advance.

Q) I have passed my theory test, is it cheaper?

If you have passed your theory test then you will not have to pay the theory test fee. Our prices include the cost of the practical driving test, we just add on the theory test cost if you need us to book you a theory test.

Q) Do I have to pay extra for my test day?

Not for an intensive driving course - the DVSA do not provide cars so you will need use your instructor's vehicle. If you are taking an extended test or live quite far from the test centre, a little more than the last hour would be required for taking the test and taking you home at the end of the course.

Q) How do I go about booking the course and how do I pay?

You can call us for any general enquiries, to book you can BOOK ONLINE 24/7 using the booking form. You can email us a query out of hours too, 24 hours per day, or send us an email, we will get back to you as soon as possible. To secure a course we require a deposit before the course begins. Payments are made on the online booking form with a debit or credit card, securely through Barclaycard's payment gateway, or we can email you an invoice to pay the same way.

Q) Are deposits fully refundable?

In the small chance we cannot fulfil your booking, deposits are 100% refundable.

These are some of the most asked questions, but if you would like to
call us and ask a few more then please don't hesitate.
